GREEN INSIGHT
The works of this recurring series are large in size and portray glimpses of greenhouses with a great variety of plants and flowers.
sought-after, found in the greenhouses of botanical gardens. They are immersive, engaging works capable of emotionally connecting with the observer, eliciting diverse and individual reactions without using many words to describe them.

 

Narcissus

This is the project that best represents my artistic research. Orchids are still the main subject, but the composition is enriched by a new element: the reflection on the water, which gives the works in this series curious and intriguing textures that can lead to abstraction.

Orchids

       It is a recurring series dedicated to the iconic flower of history.

Each orchid differs from the others not only in color and shape, but also in the character it expresses, the emotion it evokes in the observer. My desire is to capture that emotion on canvas, engaging and sharing with the viewer what inspired me.

    

It's an ongoing series about one of the most iconic flowers in history. Orchids are different from each other not only for their colors and shapes but also for their character, for the emotion they might trigger while observing them. I want to capture that emotion on the canvas in order to share it with the viewers and engage them with the same feeling which had inspired me.

Patterns

Patterns are everywhere around us, in the geometries of everyday urban life or in the apparent chaos of nature: they are a constant visual stimulus. The extemporaneous painting of this series allows me to convey a personal perception and interpretation of reality on canvas.

The works are composed of two canvases and painted with wood, aluminum, sponges and anything that leaves a trace on the canvas, becoming in turn a pattern in an endless game.

Patterns are all around us, either in the geometry of urban daily life or in the apparent disorder of Nature: they are a continuous visual stimulation. The extemporaneous paint of this series allows me to render on canvas a personal perception and interpretation of reality.

Zoomorphic

   

          In my orchid research, I found some specimens that resemble animals: moths, butterflies, spiders, but also marine creatures and even monkey faces. A curious plant menagerie was born.

        

In my research about orchids I came across some species which reminded me of some animals: moths, butterflies and spiders, but also sea creatures and even monkey faces. That is the origin of this peculiar series of 'vegetal animals'
